Meet Bod
Finding the right therapist is a personal decision. Before you share your thoughts,
feelings and experiences with someone, it's important to feel you know a little
about who they are and how they work.
Over the last 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping people from many
different backgrounds overcome emotional and psychological difficulties, rebuild
relationships, process trauma and create lasting change in their lives.
Every person who walks through my door brings a unique story. My role isn't to fit
people into diagnostic boxes or apply the same approach to everyone. It's to
understand who you are, what's brought you here and work with you to find the
most effective way forward.
MY EXPERIENCE
Throughout my career I've worked with adults, young people, couples and professionals
experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
This includes common presentations such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD,
relationship difficulties, grief and low self-esteem, alongside more complex presentations
including personality disorders, Complex PTSD (cPTSD) and dissociative disorders.
I've worked across private practice, employee assistance programmes, healthcare
organisations and leadership settings, giving me experience of supporting people from
many different backgrounds and at different stages of life. Every client teaches me something new,
and no two therapeutic journeys are ever the same.

A COMMITMENT TO LIFELONG LEARNING
Psychology and neuroscience continue to evolve, and I believe my clients deserve the benefit of both established therapeutic approaches with decades of evidence behind them and the latest scientifically supported developments.
Alongside ongoing professional training, supervision and my doctoral research at the University of Sheffield, I continually review emerging evidence and integrate new developments into my practice where they are supported by robust research. This allows me to combine proven therapeutic approaches with the latest advances in psychology and neuroscience, ensuring the therapy you receive is both evidence-based and individually tailored.
BEYOND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications and training matter, but they're only part of what makes therapy effective.
Over the years, I've learned that meaningful change comes from combining knowledge with
genuine human connection. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be
yourself, understood without judgement and supported to explore whatever has brought you
here.
Therapy isn't about telling you what to do. It's about working together to understand what's
keeping you stuck, building on your strengths and helping you create lasting, meaningful
change.
